Hanaka‘Ilio Beach is a beautiful, safe and relaxing sandy beach in Hauula. It's a clothing optional beach. There's nothing like sunbathing and swimming au naturel. It's an ideal and safe place for adults to visit in the summer. This beach is so pretty that you'll not want to leave! It's around 1.2km in length, which is medium. In peak summer months it can be difficult to stake out a peaceful place on the sand because it's a popular spot. The views are amazing and the weather is usually nice.
Be aware that this is a clothing optional beach (so there might be nudist zones). Dogs allowed all year round. Hanaka‘Ilio Beach is usually calm.
There are no outside shower.
Hanaka‘Ilio Beach offers a lot of space for relaxation and sunbathing. The water here is suitable for snorkeling and kayaking.
May, September, October, December are the best months to visit Hanaka‘Ilio Beach and other beaches in Hauula, because that's when the temperatures are warm and there's probably less crowd (not guaranteed).
