Port-Louis, Grande-Terre, Guadeloupe
Plage d'Antigues is a beautiful, family-friendly and clean sandy beach in Port-Louis. It has clear water. You will find that the water here, as with many of the other Port-Louis beaches is clear and extremely inviting. This beach is so pretty that you'll spend hours here! It's around 1.8km in length, which is medium. In peak summer months it can be difficult to stake out a peaceful place on the sand because it's a popular spot. The views are amazing and the weather is warm all year round.
You can go to this beach by car. There is parking space nearby. The locals might not be that friendly.
There are chairs for rent and pier.
Plage d'Antigues offers a lot of space for sunbathing and family games. The water here is suitable for surfing, swimming, and fishing. Volleyball can be enjoyed as well.
January, February, March, May are the best months to visit Plage d'Antigues and other beaches in Port-Louis, because that's when the temperatures are warm and there's probably less crowd (not guaranteed).
