Punalu'u Beach is a beautiful and safe and small sandy beach in Pahala. It's an ideal and safe place for adults to visit in any time of the year. This beach is so pretty that you'll take so many pictures! It's around 0.75km in length. It is never crowded here. The views are amazing and the weather is warm all year round. This beach is also known as Black Sand Beach, Punalu'u Black Sand Beach, and 黑沙滩.
Punalu'u Beach is one of the more challenging beaches to access. It is not wheelchair accessible and difficult for disabled visitors and small children. There is parking space nearby.
There are shades and chairs for rent.
June, August, September, October are the best months to visit Punalu'u Beach and other beaches in Pahala, because that's when the temperatures are warm and there's probably less crowd (not guaranteed).
