Bamboo Island Beach, a real paradise of wild and unspoiled nature, is a stretch of sand surrounded by mountains and by clear water. Everything around you is peaceful, natural, relaxing. It's a pretty and safe place for adults to visit in the summer. It has clear water, friendly locals, and good 3G+ coverage. You will find that the water here, as with many of the other Koh Phi Phi beaches is clear and extremely inviting Ideal for snorkeling. This beach is so pretty that it almost seems surreal! The views are amazing and the weather is usually nice. The spectacular scenery includes palm trees, trees, rocks, cliffs, dunes, mountain, sea shells, temple, castle, cave, and seaweed - prepare your camera! Be aware that smoking, bringing dogs, and drinking alcohol is not allowed.
Bamboo Island Beach is one of the more challenging beaches to access. It is not wheelchair accessible and difficult for disabled visitors and small children. You can only go to this beach by boat - it's not that easy to get there. There are no lifeguards on duty at the beach, so keep that in mind, but if youโre looking for somewhere quiet to hang out or spend time, Bamboo Island Beach is a great place. Pay attention if you go swimming because there are sharks, jellyfishes, and stingrays in the water. Bamboo Island Beach is usually calm, laid-back and great for swimming.
There are shades, cleaning, food options, and water activities. There are no chairs for rent, outside shower, and umbrella for rent. But there are some shades to protect yourself from the sun.
If you are seeking food and refreshment, there are some options. The water here is suitable for surfing, swimming, diving, snorkeling, fishing, and windsurfing.
January, February, June, July are the best months to visit Bamboo Island Beach and other beaches in Koh Phi Phi, because that's when the temperatures are warm and there's probably less crowd (not guaranteed).
