Boat Cove is a pristine, beautiful, clean, safe and family-friendly sandy beach in Dawlish. It's a pretty and safe place for both adults and children to visit in the summer. It has clear water, friendly locals, easy access, and good 3G+ coverage. You will find that the water here, as with many of the other Dawlish beaches is crystal clear and extremely inviting Ideal for snorkeling and for young children. It's hard to find some shade at the beach. There are no amenities so bring what you need and please don't leave anything behind. The views are good. The beautiful scenery includes driftwood and sea shells - prepare your camera!

Safety and Access

Getting to Boat Cove is simple. You can go to this beach by car, bus, boat, and walking or hiking. It's pretty easy to get there, which makes it perfect for families! There are no lifeguards on duty at the beach, so keep that in mind, but if you’re looking for somewhere quiet to hang out or spend time, Boat Cove is a great place. Dogs allowed all year round. There is parking space nearby. There's bus service that passes nearby, making it easy for many Dawlish beach-goers. Boat Cove is a very family-friendly beach, with calm waters that are crystal clear, perfect for swimming.

Infrastructure

There are cleaning, pier, and bicycle path. There are no outside shower, umbrella for rent, and chairs for rent, so bring your own if you need.

The water here is suitable for swimming, diving, snorkeling, fishing, windsurfing, kayaking, and standup paddleboarding. Stargazing can be enjoyed as well.
