Cactus Bay, a real paradise of wild and unspoiled nature, is a small stretch of sand surrounded by forests and by clear water. Everything around you is peaceful, natural, relaxing. It's an ideal and safe place for both adults and children to visit in the summer. It has clear water, and friendly locals. You will find that the water here, as with many of the other Waiheke beaches is crystal clear and extremely inviting Ideal for snorkeling and for young children. This beach is so pretty that you will remember it for the rest of your life! It's around 0.63km in length with some shades to shelter from the sun and that you will get all to yourself. It is never crowded here. There are no amenities so bring what you need and please don't leave anything behind. Safety and Access

Cactus Bay is one of the more challenging beaches to access. It is not wheelchair accessible and difficult for disabled visitors and small children. You can only go to this beach by boat. There are no lifeguards on duty at the beach, so keep that in mind, but if youโ€™re looking for somewhere quiet to hang out or spend time, Cactus Bay is a great place. Cactus Bay is a family-friendly beach, with calm waters that are crystal clear, perfect for swimming. Cactus Bay is usually calm, laid-back and great for swimming. Due to it's hard access, this beach is undeveloped and remote. The cell phone signal is weak there, so be prepared.

Infrastructure

There are no outside shower, umbrella for rent, and chairs for rent. But there are some shades to protect yourself from the sun. Nearby there areย no food options, so bring plenty of food and water and remember to take all the trash with you.
