About Camber Sands

Camber Sands is a beautiful, pristine, safe and family-friendly and big sandy beach in East Sussex. It's a clothing optional beach and when it's not crowded it is a nice place. There's nothing like sunbathing and swimming au naturel. It's a pretty and safe place for both adults and children to visit in the summer. It has an easy access, clear water, friendly locals, and good 3G+ coverage. You will find that the water here, as with many of the other East Sussex beaches is crystal clear and extremely inviting. This beach is so pretty that is totally worth it! It's around 6.22km in length. There are no amenities so bring what you need and please don't leave anything behind. In peak summer months it can be difficult to stake out a peaceful place on the sand because it's a popular beach among tourists. The views are amazing but you need to watch out for the weather because it's not always good, so check The best time to visit Camber Sands to be prepared. Be aware that smoking is not allowed.

Safety and Access

You can go to this beach by car. It's easy to get there, which makes it perfect for families! There are no lifeguards on duty at the beach, so keep that in mind, but if youโ€™re looking for somewhere to hang out or spend time, Camber Sands is a great place. Be aware that this is a clothing optional beach (so there might be nudist zones). Dogs allowed all year round. Camber Sands is a family-friendly beach, with calm waters that are crystal clear, perfect for swimming.

Infrastructure

There are no outside shower, umbrella for rent, and chairs for rent.
