About Cottesloe Beach

Cottesloe Beach is a clean, beautiful, safe, pristine and family-friendly and small sandy beach in Cottesloe. It's a pretty and safe place for both adults and children to visit in any time of the year. It has clear water, friendly locals, and good 3G+ coverage. You will find that the water here, as with many of the other Cottesloe beaches is clear and extremely inviting Ideal for snorkeling and for young children. This beach is so pretty that is totally worth it! It's around 0.92km in length with some areas you can find back in shade. In peak summer months it can be difficult to stake out a peaceful place on the sand because it's a popular spot. The views are amazing and the weather is warm all year round. The spectacular scenery includes trees, rocks, and sea shells - prepare your camera! Be aware that bringing dogs is not allowed.

You can go to this beach by car, bus, and walking or hiking - note that it's not that easy to get there. There are lifeguards on duty at the beach. There is parking space nearby, although it might be a bit harder to find a space on the weekends or during peak months. Cottesloe Beach is a very family-friendly beach, with calm waters that are clear and shallow, perfect for swimming safely. Pay attention if you go swimming because there are jellyfishes and stingrays in the water.

There are food options, shades, bicycles for rent, lifeguards, outside shower, and playground. There are no umbrella for rent and chairs for rent. But there are some shades to protect yourself from the sun.
