Engenhoca is a beautiful, pristine and family-friendly and small sandy beach in Itacaré. It's a clothing optional beach and when it's not crowded it is a pretty paradisical place. There's nothing like sunbathing and swimming au naturel. And the local attitude is good, so you're not going to be bothered by anyone else on the beach. It has an easy access, clear water, and friendly locals. You will find that the water here, as with many of the other Itacaré beaches is crystal clear and extremely inviting Ideal for snorkeling and for young children. This beach is so pretty that you can spend hours stuck up in its enchantment! It's around 0.77km in length with some areas you can find back in shade. It is never crowded here. The views are amazing and the weather is warm all year round. The spectacular scenery includes trees, palm trees, rocks, cliffs, and mountain - prepare your camera!

Safety and Access

You can only go to this beach by walking or hiking. It's easy to get there, which makes it perfect for families! There are lifeguards on duty at the beach. Be aware that this is a clothing optional beach (so there might be nudist zones). Dogs allowed all year round. There is parking space nearby. Engenhoca is undeveloped and remote. The cell phone signal is weak there, so be prepared.

Infrastructure

Engenhoca has everything you need to spend the day. There are trails, shades, food options, lifeguards, surfboards for rent, surf school, and water activities. There are no outside shower. There are some shades to protect yourself from the sun.

If you are seeking food and refreshment, there are some options. The water here is suitable for surfing and swimming. Walking and running can be enjoyed as well.
