You can go to this beach by car, bus, boat, and walking or hiking. It's easy to get there, which makes it perfect for families! There are lifeguards on duty, but there are lots of people at the beach so don’t expect them to be looking over your kids only. Keep an eye on them at all times. Dogs allowed all year round. There is parking space nearby. La Jolla Shores Beach is a family-friendly beach, with calm waters that are crystal clear, perfect for swimming safely. Pay attention if you go swimming because there are sharks and jellyfishes in the water.
