Playa de la Chincheta is a safe sandy beach in Motril. It's a clothing optional beach. There's nothing like sunbathing and swimming au naturel. It's around 1.07km in length, which is medium. Be aware that drinking alcohol is not allowed.
You can go to this beach by car.Be aware that this is a clothing optional beach (so there might be nudist zones). Dogs allowed all year round.
Playa de la Chincheta offers a lot of space for sunbathing.
June, July, August, September are the best months to visit Playa de la Chincheta and other beaches in Motril, because that's when the temperatures are warm and there's probably less crowd (not guaranteed).
