Playa Junquillal is a beautiful, family-friendly and secluded and big beach in Cuajiniquil. It's a clothing optional beach. There's nothing like sunbathing and swimming au naturel. It's around 4.03km in length. It is never crowded here. The views are good and the weather is usually nice.
Be aware that this is a clothing optional beach (so there might be nudist zones).
Playa Junquillal is good for families thanks to the enormous amount of space. It offers a lot of space for sunbathing and family games. If you are seeking food and refreshment, there are some options. The water here is suitable for surfing and swimming. Watching the sunset can be enjoyed as well.
February, March, April, December are the best months to visit Playa Junquillal and other beaches in Cuajiniquil, because that's when the temperatures are warm and there's probably less crowd (not guaranteed).
