Praia Bom Jesus is a clean, beautiful, safe, pristine and family-friendly sandy beach in Arroio do Sal. It has clear water, friendly locals, and easy access. You will find that the water here, as with many of the other Arroio do Sal beaches is clear and extremely inviting Ideal for snorkeling and for young children. This beach is so pretty that is totally worth it! It's hard to find some shade at the beach. There are no amenities so bring what you need and please don't leave anything behind. In peak summer months it can be difficult to stake out a peaceful place on the sand because it's a popular beach among locals. The views are amazing and the weather is usually nice. The spectacular scenery includes trees, dunes, and sea shells - prepare your camera! Be aware that bringing dogs is not allowed.

Safety and Access

You can go to this beach by car, bus, boat, and walking or hiking. It's easy to get there, which makes it perfect for families! There are lifeguards on duty at the beach. Pay attention if you go swimming because there are sharks and stingrays in the water. Praia Bom Jesus is undeveloped and remote. The cell phone signal is weak there, so be prepared.

Infrastructure

There are cleaning, bicycle path, lifeguards, and outside shower. There are no umbrella for rent and chairs for rent, so bring your own if you need. Nearby there are no food options, so bring plenty of food and water and remember to take all the trash with you.
