Praia de Algés is a safe and private and small sandy beach in Lisbon. It's around 0.55km in length. This beach is also known as Algés Beach.
There are no lifeguards on duty at the beach, so it is a swim-at-your-own-risk zone.
June, July, August, September are the best months to visit Praia de Algés and other beaches in Lisbon, because that's when the temperatures are warm and there's probably less crowd (not guaranteed).
