About Praia de Grumari

Praia de Grumari, a real paradise of wild and unspoiled nature, is a 5.19km stretch of sand located in Rio de Janeiro. It's a clothing optional beach and when it's not crowded it is a pretty paradisical place. There's nothing like sunbathing and swimming au naturel. And the local attitude is good, so you're not going to be bothered by anyone else on the beach. It has clear water, and friendly locals. You will find that the water here, as with many of the other Rio de Janeiro beaches is crystal clear and extremely inviting. This beach is so pretty that you'll not want to leave! The views are amazing and the weather is usually nice. Be aware that bringing dogs is not allowed. This beach is also known as Praia de Curumury;Praia de Grumarim.
