Praia do Guaecá, a real paradise of wild and unspoiled nature, is a 4.14km stretch of sand surrounded by mountains and by clear water. It's an ideal and safe place for both adults and children to visit in the summer. It has clear water, friendly locals, and good 3G+ coverage. You will find that the water here, as with many of the other São Sebastião beaches is clear and extremely inviting Ideal for snorkeling and for young children. This beach is so pretty that you'll not want to leave! In peak summer months it can be difficult to stake out a peaceful place on the sand because it's a popular beach among locals. The views are amazing and the weather is usually nice. The spectacular scenery includes trees, rocks, mountain, sea shells, and palm trees - prepare your camera! Be aware that bringing dogs is not allowed.

You can go to this beach by car, boat, and walking or hiking - note that it's not that easy to get there. There are lifeguards on duty at the beach. There is parking space nearby.

Praia do Guaecá has everything you need to spend the day. There are water activities, trails, shades, food options, cleaning, lifeguards, umbrella for rent, and chairs for rent. There are no outside shower, so bring your own if you need. There are some shades to protect yourself from the sun.
