Whale Bone Beach is a beautiful, clean and safe sandy beach in San Mateo County. It's a pretty and safe place for adults to visit in the summer. The views are good and the weather is usually nice.
Whale Bone Beach is one of the more challenging beaches to access. It is not wheelchair accessible and difficult for disabled visitors and small children. You can go to this beach by walking or hiking - note that it's not that easy to get there. There is parking space nearby.
July, August, September, October are the best months to visit Whale Bone Beach and other beaches in San Mateo County, because that's when the temperatures are warm and there's probably less crowd (not guaranteed).
