Φιλάκι, a real paradise of wild and unspoiled nature, is a small pebbly beach surrounded by cliffs and by clear water. Everything around you is peaceful, natural, relaxing. It's a clothing optional beach and when it's not crowded it is a pretty paradisical place. There's nothing like sunbathing and swimming au naturel. And the local attitude is good, so you're not going to be bothered by anyone else on the beach. It's a pretty and safe place for both adults and children to visit in the summer. It has clear water, friendly locals, easy access, and good 3G+ coverage. You will find that the water here, as with many of the other Hora Sfakion beaches is crystal clear and extremely inviting. This beach is so pretty that we guarantee that your photos will look amazing no matter where you take your shots! It's around 0.27km in length with some shades to shelter from the sun. It is never crowded here. The views are amazing and the weather is usually nice. The spectacular scenery includes palm trees, rocks, cliffs, and sea shells - prepare your camera! Be aware that practicing activities is not allowed. This beach is also known as Naturist Beach, Παραλία Φυλακή, and Paralia Filaki.

Safety and Access

Getting to Φιλάκι is simple. You can go to this beach by car, boat, and walking or hiking. It's pretty easy to get there, which makes it perfect for families! There are no lifeguards on duty at the beach, so keep that in mind, but if you’re looking for somewhere quiet to hang out or spend time, Φιλάκι is a great place. Be aware that this is a clothing optional beach (so there might be nudist zones). There is parking space nearby. Φιλάκι is a family-friendly beach, with calm waters that are crystal clear and shallow, perfect for swimming. Φιλάκι is usually calm, laid-back and great for swimming.
