About Caló des Moro

Caló des Moro is one of the most famous beach of Santanyí. It's an ideal and safe place for adults to visit in any time of the year. It has clear water, and friendly locals. You will find that the water here, as with many of the other Santanyí beaches is clear and extremely inviting. This beach is so pretty that you'll take so many pictures! It's around 0.1km in length, which is super small, and there are no shades. There are no amenities so bring what you need and please don't leave anything behind. In peak summer months it can be difficult to stake out a peaceful place on the sand because it's a very popular spot. The views are amazing and the weather is warm all year round. The spectacular scenery includes rocks, cliffs, sea shells, cave, and seaweed - prepare your camera! Be aware that smoking and practicing activities is not allowed.

Safety and Access

Caló des Moro is one of the more challenging beaches to access. It is not wheelchair accessible and difficult for disabled visitors and small children. You can go to this beach by car and walking or hiking - note that it's not that easy to get there. There are no lifeguards on duty at the beach, so keep that in mind, but if you’re looking for somewhere to hang out or spend time, Caló des Moro is a great place. There are lots of people at the beach so If you have kids, keep an eye on them at all times. Dogs allowed all year round.

Infrastructure

There are trails, cleaning, water activities, and a swing. There are no outside shower, umbrella for rent, and chairs for rent.
