Cala de Huncos is a pristine and safe and small sandy beach in Cartagena. It's around 0.08km in length, which is super small.
Cala de Huncos is one of the more challenging beaches to access. It is not wheelchair accessible and difficult for disabled visitors and small children. You can go to this beach by car and walking or hiking - note that it's not that easy to get there. There is parking space nearby.
June, July, August, September are the best months to visit Cala de Huncos and other beaches in Cartagena, because that's when the temperatures are warm and there's probably less crowd (not guaranteed).
