About Cala Mata
Cala Mata, a real paradise of wild and unspoiled nature, is a stretch of sand located in Betlem, Artà, Mallorca. It's a clothing optional beach and when it's not crowded it is a pretty paradisical place. There's nothing like sunbathing and swimming au naturel. It's a pretty and safe place for adults to visit in any time of the year. It has clear water, friendly locals, easy access, and good 3G+ coverage. The water there is crystal clear. This beach is so pretty that you can spend hours stuck up in its enchantment! It's hard to find some shade at the beach because there are no trees on the shore. There are no amenities so bring what you need and please don't leave anything behind. The views are amazing and the weather is warm all year round. The spectacular scenery includes rocks, sea shells, and seaweed - prepare your camera! Be aware that drinking alcohol, smoking, and practicing activities is not allowed.
Safety and Access
You can go to this beach by bus. It's easy to get there. There are no lifeguards on duty at the beach, so keep that in mind, but if you’re looking for somewhere quiet to hang out, Cala Mata is a great place. Be aware that this is a clothing optional beach (so there might be nudist zones). Dogs allowed all year round.
Infrastructure
There are trails, cleaning, skatepark, water activities, and a swing. There are no outside shower, umbrella for rent, and chairs for rent.
