Cedar Lake Point Beach is a safe and small sandy beach in Minneapolis. It has clear water. The water there is crystal clear. It's around 0.1km in length, which is super small. Be aware that drinking alcohol and smoking is not allowed.
You can go to this beach by walking or hiking. There are no lifeguards on duty at the beach, so it is a swim-at-your-own-risk zone.
June, July, August, September are the best months to visit Cedar Lake Point Beach and other beaches in Minneapolis, because that's when the temperatures are warm and there's probably less crowd (not guaranteed).
