About Haulover Beach

Haulover Beach is one of the most famous beach of North Miami. It's around 3.42km in length, which is big, and there are no shades. There are no amenities so bring what you need and please don't leave anything behind. In peak summer months it can be difficult to stake out a peaceful place on the sand because it's a very popular beach among locals.

Safety and Access

Haulover Beach is one of the more challenging beaches to access. It is not wheelchair accessible and difficult for disabled visitors and small children. You can only go to this beach by walking or hiking. There are no lifeguards on duty at the beach, so it is a swim-at-your-own-risk zone. There are lots of people at the beach so If you have kids, keep an eye on them at all times. Dogs allowed all year round. Be careful with your belongings because itโ€™s not a safe place. The locals might not be that friendly. Due to it's hard access, Haulover Beach is remote. The cell phone signal is weak there, so be prepared. The beach is dirty, watch out where you step.

Infrastructure

There are pier, scooter for rent, bicycle path, playground, surf school, fitness station, skatepark, a swing, trails, and free wi-fi. There are no outside shower, umbrella for rent, and chairs for rent. Nearby there areย no food options, so bring plenty of food and water and remember to take all the trash with you.

Things to do on Haulover Beach

Haulover Beach offers a lot of space for sunbathing. There are no water sports here.
