Kintail Beach is one of the most famous beach of Ashfield–Colborne–Wawanosh. There are no amenities so bring what you need and please don't leave anything behind. In peak summer months it can be difficult to stake out a peaceful place on the beach because it's a very popular beach among locals. Be aware that swimming, bringing dogs, drinking alcohol, smoking, bringing food, and practicing activities is not allowed.
Kintail Beach is one of the more challenging beaches to access. It is not wheelchair accessible and difficult for disabled visitors and small children. You can go to this beach by boat and walking or hiking - note that it's not that easy to get there. There are no lifeguards on duty at the beach, so it is a swim-at-your-own-risk zone. There are lots of people at the beach so If you have kids, keep an eye on them at all times. The locals might not be that friendly. Due to it's hard access, Kintail Beach is remote. The cell phone signal is weak there, so be prepared.
There are no outside shower, umbrella for rent, and chairs for rent.
Bring your own food and drink since you cannot buy anything at the beach, and make sure to leave nothing behind but footprints.
July, August, September, November are the best months to visit Kintail Beach and other beaches in Ashfield–Colborne–Wawanosh, because that's when the temperatures are warm and there's probably less crowd (not guaranteed).
