About La Cocina

La Cocina is a safe, pristine, beautiful and secluded and small sandy beach in Teguise. It's a clothing optional beach and when it's not crowded it is a pretty paradisical place. There's nothing like sunbathing and swimming au naturel. It's an ideal and safe place for adults to visit in any time of the year. It has clear water. You will find that the water here, as with many of the other Teguise beaches is crystal clear and extremely inviting Ideal for snorkeling. This beach is so pretty that you'll spend hours here! It's around 0.26km in length, which is super small. It is never crowded here. There are no amenities so bring what you need and please don't leave anything behind. The views are amazing and the weather is warm all year round. The spectacular scenery includes rocks, cliffs, and mountain - prepare your camera!

Safety and Access

La Cocina is one of the more challenging beaches to access. It is not wheelchair accessible and difficult for disabled visitors and small children. To get here is an adventure. You can go to this beach by walking or hiking. There are no lifeguards on duty at the beach, so keep that in mind, but if you’re looking for somewhere quiet to hang out or spend time, La Cocina is a good place. Be aware that this is a clothing optional beach (so there might be nudist zones).

Infrastructure

There are bicycles for rent and trails. There are no outside shower, umbrella for rent, and chairs for rent, so bring your own if you need. Nearby there are no food options, so bring plenty of food and water and remember to take all the trash with you.

Things to do on La Cocina

The water here is suitable for swimming and snorkeling. Walking, watching the sunset, and stargazing can be enjoyed as well.
