Leynarsandur is a beautiful and small sandy beach in Stykkið. This beach is so pretty that you'll not want to leave! It's around 0.87km in length. The views are amazing but you need to watch out for the weather because it's not always good, so check The best time to visit Leynarsandur to be prepared. This beach is also known as Leynasandur.
June, July, August, September are the best months to visit Leynarsandur and other beaches in Stykkið, because that's when the temperatures are warm and there's probably less crowd (not guaranteed).
