About Narrowneck Beach

Narrowneck Beach is one of the most famous beach of Gold Coast. It's a clothing optional beach. There's nothing like sunbathing and swimming au naturel. It has an easy access. It's around 1.39km in length, which is medium. In peak summer months it can be difficult to stake out a peaceful place on the sand because it's a very popular beach among tourists. Be aware that drinking alcohol and smoking is not allowed. This beach is also known as Narrowneck Park.

Safety and Access

You can go to this beach by walking or hiking and bus. It's easy to get there. There are lifeguards on duty, but there are lots of people at the beach so donโ€™t expect them to be looking over your kids only. Keep an eye on them at all times. Be aware that this is a clothing optional beach (so there might be nudist zones). Dogs allowed all year round. There is parking space nearby. Be careful with your belongings because itโ€™s not a safe place. Pay attention if you go swimming because there are jellyfishes and stingrays in the water. The locals might not be that friendly. Narrowneck Beach is undeveloped and remote. The cell phone signal is weak there, so be prepared.

Infrastructure

Narrowneck Beach has everything you need to spend the day. There are lifeguards, umbrella for rent, outside shower, cleaning, bicycles for rent, scooter for rent, and bicycle path. There are no chairs for rent, so bring your own if you need.

Things to do on Narrowneck Beach

Narrowneck Beach offers a lot of space for relaxation and sunbathing. The water here is suitable for surfing, swimming, diving, snorkeling, fishing, kitesurfing, windsurfing, kayaking, and standup paddleboarding. Walking, running, volleyball, beach tennis, doing yoga, beach wedding, watching the sunset, and stargazing can be enjoyed as well.
