Ocean Beach is a safe, pristine and family-friendly sandy beach in New London. It has an easy access. It's around 1.41km in length, which is medium. In peak summer months it can be difficult to stake out a peaceful place on the sand because it's a popular beach among locals. Be aware that drinking alcohol, smoking, and bringing dogs is not allowed.
You can go to this beach by car, bus, boat, and walking or hiking. It's easy to get there, which makes it perfect for families! There are lifeguards on duty at the beach. There is parking space nearby. Pay attention if you go swimming because there are jellyfishes in the water.

June, July, August, September are the best months to visit Ocean Beach and other beaches in New London, because that's when the temperatures are warm and there's probably less crowd (not guaranteed).
