Le Prêcheur, Saint-Pierre, Martinique
Plage de la Charmeuse is one of the most famous beach of Le Prêcheur. This beach is so pretty that you'll spend hours here! It's around 0.6km in length, which is small. In peak summer months it can be difficult to stake out a peaceful place on the beach because it's a very popular spot. The views are amazing and the weather is warm all year round.
Plage de la Charmeuse is one of the more challenging beaches to access. It is not wheelchair accessible and difficult for disabled visitors and small children. You can go to this beach by boat - note that it's not that easy to get there.. There are lots of people at the beach so If you have kids, keep an eye on them at all times.
January, February, March, May are the best months to visit Plage de la Charmeuse and other beaches in Le Prêcheur, because that's when the temperatures are warm and there's probably less crowd (not guaranteed).
