Plage du Pontillon, a real paradise of wild and unspoiled nature, is a small long beach located in Hyères. It has clear water. The water there is crystal clear. This beach is so pretty that you'll spend hours here! It's around 0.07km in length, which is super small. It is never crowded here. There are no amenities so bring what you need and please don't leave anything behind. Plage du Pontillon is one of the more challenging beaches to access. It is not wheelchair accessible and difficult for disabled visitors and small children. You can go to this beach by boat and walking or hiking - note that it's not that easy to get there. There are no lifeguards on duty at the beach, so keep that in mind, but if you’re looking for somewhere quiet to hang out or spend time, Plage du Pontillon is a great place. Dogs allowed all year round. Due to it's hard access, this beach is undeveloped and remote. The cell phone signal is weak there, so be prepared.
There are cleaning and trails. There are no outside shower, umbrella for rent, and chairs for rent.
The water here is suitable for swimming, diving, snorkeling, kayaking, and standup paddleboarding. Walking, running, and stargazing can be enjoyed as well.
June, July, August, September are the best months to visit Plage du Pontillon and other beaches in Hyères, because that's when the temperatures are warm and there's probably less crowd (not guaranteed).
