About Plage Municipale

Plage Municipale is a safe, beautiful, clean and family-friendly and big sandy beach in Tangier. It's an ideal and safe place for both adults and children to visit in the summer. It has clear water, friendly locals, easy access, and good 3G+ coverage. You will find that the water here, as with many of the other Tangier beaches is clear and extremely inviting. It's around 3.95km in length. It is never crowded here. The views are good and the weather is usually nice. Be aware that drinking alcohol is not allowed. This beach is also known as Municipal Beach and 综合沙滩.

Safety and Access

You can go to this beach by car, bus, boat, and walking or hiking. It's easy to get there, which makes it perfect for families! There are lifeguards on duty at the beach. There is parking space nearby. Plage Municipale is a very family-friendly beach, with calm waters that are clear and shallow, perfect for swimming safely. Pay attention if you go swimming because there are sharks in the water.

Infrastructure

Plage Municipale has everything you need to spend the day and the night. There are shades, cleaning, pier, bicycle path, lifeguards, playground, outside shower, umbrella for rent, chairs for rent, skatepark, a swing, nightlife, and trails.

Plage Municipale is great for families thanks to the enormous amount of space. It offers a lot of space for sunbathing and family games. The water here is suitable for surfing, swimming, snorkeling, fishing, kitesurfing, windsurfing, kayaking, and standup paddleboarding. Walking, running, and watching the sunset can be enjoyed as well.
