Playa Angostura is a beautiful pebbly beach in Puntarenas. This beach is so pretty that you can spend hours stuck up in its enchantment! It's around 1.89km in length, which is medium. It is never crowded here. The views are amazing and the weather is usually nice.
Playa Angostura is one of the more challenging beaches to access. It is not wheelchair accessible and difficult for disabled visitors and small children. You can go to this beach by car and boat - note that it's not that easy to get there.
Playa Angostura offers a lot of space for sunbathing.
January, February, May, December are the best months to visit Playa Angostura and other beaches in Puntarenas, because that's when the temperatures are warm and there's probably less crowd (not guaranteed).
