There are no lifeguards on duty at the beach, so it is a swim-at-your-own-risk zone. Be careful with your belongings because it’s not a safe place.
January, February, April, July are the best months to visit Playa de Cascajo and other beaches in Playa Sardinas II, because that's when the temperatures are warm and there's probably less crowd (not guaranteed).
