Playa de San Diego is a beautiful, safe and relaxing sandy beach in Cartagena. It's a clothing optional beach. There's nothing like sunbathing and swimming au naturel. It's an ideal and safe place for adults to visit in any time of the year. It has clear water. The water there is crystal clear. The views are good and the weather is warm all year round.
Be aware that this is a clothing optional beach (so there might be nudist zones). Playa de San Diego is usually calm.
There are food options and chairs for rent.
January, February, March, June are the best months to visit Playa de San Diego and other beaches in Cartagena, because that's when the temperatures are warm and there's probably less crowd (not guaranteed).
