Playa del Salado is a safe, pristine, beautiful and family-friendly sandy beach in Teguise. It's a clothing optional beach and when it's not crowded it is a pretty paradisical place. There's nothing like sunbathing and swimming au naturel. It's an ideal and safe place for both adults and children to visit in any time of the year. It has clear water, easy access, and friendly locals. You will find that the water here, as with many of the other Teguise beaches is crystal clear and extremely inviting Ideal for snorkeling and for young children. This beach is so pretty that you will remember it for the rest of your life! It's around 2.58km in length, which is medium, and there are no shades. It is never crowded here. The views are amazing and the weather is warm all year round. The spectacular scenery includes rocks, cliffs, and mountain - prepare your camera!
Getting to Playa del Salado is simple. You can go to this beach by walking or hiking and boat. It's pretty easy to get there, which makes it perfect for families!. Be aware that this is a clothing optional beach (so there might be nudist zones). Playa del Salado is a very family-friendly beach, with calm waters that are crystal clear, perfect for swimming.
Playa del Salado offers a lot of space for sunbathing and family games. The water here is suitable for swimming, diving, and snorkeling. Walking and running can be enjoyed as well.
July, August, September, October are the best months to visit Playa del Salado and other beaches in Teguise, because that's when the temperatures are warm and there's probably less crowd (not guaranteed).
