Playa Escondida is a beautiful and family-friendly and small sandy beach in Fajardo. This beach is so pretty that we guarantee that your photos will look amazing no matter where you take your shots! It's around 0.9km in length. It is never crowded here. The views are amazing and the weather is warm all year round.
Playa Escondida is one of the more challenging beaches to access. It is not wheelchair accessible and difficult for disabled visitors and small children. You can go to this beach by walking or hiking - note that it's not that easy to get there. Be careful with your belongings because it’s not a safe place.
There are shades and chairs for rent.
January, February, April, December are the best months to visit Playa Escondida and other beaches in Fajardo, because that's when the temperatures are warm and there's probably less crowd (not guaranteed).
