Playa Estero Rico is a safe, family-friendly and secluded and big beach in Santo Tomas. It's around 5.56km in length with some shades to shelter from the sun and that you will get all to yourself. It is never crowded here.
You can go to this beach by boat, walking or hiking, and car. There are no lifeguards on duty at the beach, so keep that in mind, but if you’re looking for somewhere quiet to hang out or spend time, Playa Estero Rico is a good place. There is parking space nearby. Pay attention if you go swimming because there are sharks in the water.
There are shades, food options, cleaning, pier, umbrella for rent, water activities, and trails. There are no outside shower and chairs for rent. There are some shades to protect yourself from the sun.
Playa Estero Rico is great for families thanks to the enormous amount of space. It offers a lot of space for sunbathing and family games. The water here is suitable for surfing, swimming, diving, snorkeling, and fishing. Walking, running, volleyball, watching the sunset, and stargazing can be enjoyed as well.
January, February, September, October are the best months to visit Playa Estero Rico and other beaches in Santo Tomas, because that's when the temperatures are warm and there's probably less crowd (not guaranteed).
