Playa de La Losa, a real paradise of wild and unspoiled nature, is a small pebbly beach located in Cartagena. It's an ideal and safe place for both adults and children to visit in any time of the year. It has clear water, friendly locals, and good 3G+ coverage. You will find that the water here, as with many of the other Cartagena beaches is crystal clear and extremely inviting. This beach is so pretty that you'll take so many pictures! It's around 0.34km in length, which is super small, and there are no shades. There are no amenities so bring what you need and please don't leave anything behind. In peak summer months it can be difficult to stake out a peaceful place on the beach because it's a popular beach among locals. The views are amazing and the weather is warm all year round. This beach is also known as Playa La Losa.
Playa de La Losa is one of the more challenging beaches to access. It is not wheelchair accessible and difficult for disabled visitors and small children. You can go to this beach by car and walking or hiking - note that it's not that easy to get there. There are no lifeguards on duty at the beach, so keep that in mind, but if you’re looking for somewhere quiet to hang out or spend time, Playa de La Losa is a great place. Dogs allowed all year round. There is parking space nearby, although it might be a bit harder to find a space on the weekends or during peak months. Playa de La Losa is a family-friendly beach, with calm waters that are crystal clear and shallow, perfect for swimming. Playa de La Losa is usually calm, laid-back and great for swimming.
There are cleaning and trails. There are no outside shower, umbrella for rent, and chairs for rent.
The water here is suitable for swimming, diving, and snorkeling. Walking can be enjoyed as well.
June, July, August, September are the best months to visit Playa de La Losa and other beaches in Cartagena, because that's when the temperatures are warm and there's probably less crowd (not guaranteed).
