Playa La Revesa, a real paradise of wild and unspoiled nature, is a 1.22km stretch of sand located in Palenque. It has clear water, friendly locals, and easy access. You will find that the water here, as with many of the other Palenque beaches is crystal clear and extremely inviting. This beach is so pretty that it almost seems surreal! It's hard to find some shade at the beach, so you'll have to either rent an umbrella there or bring your own. In peak summer months it can be difficult to stake out a peaceful place on the sand because it's a popular beach among locals. The views are amazing and the weather is warm all year round. This beach is also known as Playa "La Reveza".
You can go to this beach by bus. It's easy to get there, which makes it perfect for families! There are no lifeguards on duty at the beach, so keep that in mind, but if you’re looking for somewhere to hang out or spend time, Playa La Revesa is a great place. Dogs allowed all year round.
There are cleaning, pier, umbrella for rent, and chairs for rent. There are no outside shower, so bring your own if you need. Nearby there are no food options, so bring plenty of food and water and remember to take all the trash with you.
Playa La Revesa offers a lot of space for sunbathing and family games. The water here is suitable for swimming. Walking, running, volleyball, and beach tennis can be enjoyed as well.
February, March, April, September are the best months to visit Playa La Revesa and other beaches in Palenque, because that's when the temperatures are warm and there's probably less crowd (not guaranteed).
