You will find that the water here, as with many of the other Las Peñitas, Nicaragua beaches is clear and extremely inviting Ideal for snorkeling and for young children. This beach is so pretty that is totally worth it! It's around 5.49km in length. In peak summer months it can be difficult to stake out a peaceful place on the sand because it's a popular beach among locals. The views are amazing and the weather is warm all year round. The spectacular scenery includes palm trees, trees, rocks, and sea shells - prepare your camera!

Safety and Access

You can go to this beach by car and bus. It's easy to get there, which makes it perfect for families! There are no lifeguards on duty at the beach, so keep that in mind, but if you’re looking for somewhere to hang out or spend time, Playa Las Peñitas is a great place. There is parking space nearby. Pay attention if you go swimming because there are jellyfishes and stingrays in the water.
