San Juan de Marcona, Ica, Peru
Playa Los Leones is a small sandy beach in San Juan de Marcona. It's a clothing optional beach. There's nothing like sunbathing and swimming au naturel. It's around 0.8km in length.
You can go to this beach by car, boat, and walking or hiking. There are no lifeguards on duty at the beach, so it is a swim-at-your-own-risk zone. Be aware that this is a clothing optional beach (so there might be nudist zones). Dogs allowed all year round. Be careful with your belongings because it’s not a safe place.
There are shades, food options, and pier. There are no outside shower, umbrella for rent, and chairs for rent.
January, March, April, May are the best months to visit Playa Los Leones and other beaches in San Juan de Marcona, because that's when the temperatures are warm and there's probably less crowd (not guaranteed).
