Praia da Bordeira is a safe and big sandy beach in Aljezur. It's a clothing optional beach. There's nothing like sunbathing and swimming au naturel. It's around 7.85km in length. This beach is also known as Praia da Carrapateira.
Be aware that this is a clothing optional beach (so there might be nudist zones).
Praia da Bordeira offers a lot of space for sunbathing. The water here is suitable for surfing.
June, July, August, September are the best months to visit Praia da Bordeira and other beaches in Aljezur, because that's when the temperatures are warm and there's probably less crowd (not guaranteed).
