Praia da Mexilhoeira is a safe sandy beach in A dos Cunhados e Maceira. It's a clothing optional beach. There's nothing like sunbathing and swimming au naturel. It's around 1.68km in length, which is medium. It is never crowded here. This beach is also known as Praia do Seixo.
Be aware that this is a clothing optional beach (so there might be nudist zones). Dogs allowed all year round.
Praia da Mexilhoeira offers a lot of space for sunbathing.
June, July, August, September are the best months to visit Praia da Mexilhoeira and other beaches in A dos Cunhados e Maceira, because that's when the temperatures are warm and there's probably less crowd (not guaranteed).
