Praia da Samarra is a safe and pristine and small sandy beach in São João das Lampas e Terrugem. It's around 0.35km in length, which is super small. This beach is also known as Samarra Beach.
Praia da Samarra is one of the more challenging beaches to access. It is not wheelchair accessible and difficult for disabled visitors and small children.
May, July, August, September are the best months to visit Praia da Samarra and other beaches in São João das Lampas e Terrugem, because that's when the temperatures are warm and there's probably less crowd (not guaranteed).
