You will find that the water here, as with many of the other Mindelo beaches is crystal clear and extremely inviting Ideal for snorkeling and for young children. It's around 1.18km in length, which is medium, and there are no shades. In peak summer months it can be difficult to stake out a peaceful place on the beach because it's a popular beach among tourists. The views are good and the weather is warm all year round. The beautiful scenery includes rocks and sea shells - prepare your camera! Be aware that bringing food is not allowed.
