Praia do Giribeto is a beautiful, safe and relaxing and small sandy beach in São João das Lampas e Terrugem. It's an ideal and safe place for adults to visit in the summer. This beach is so pretty that you'll take so many pictures! It's around 0.3km in length, which is super small. The views are amazing and the weather is usually nice. This beach is also known as Praia de Gerebete.
Praia do Giribeto is usually calm.
If you are seeking food and refreshment, there are some options. The water here is suitable for surfing.
May, July, August, September are the best months to visit Praia do Giribeto and other beaches in São João das Lampas e Terrugem, because that's when the temperatures are warm and there's probably less crowd (not guaranteed).
