Praia do Segundo Torrão is a safe, clean and family-friendly sandy beach in Almada. It's a clothing optional beach. There's nothing like sunbathing and swimming au naturel. It has clear water. The water there is crystal clear. It's around 1.8km in length, which is medium.
Praia do Segundo Torrão is one of the more challenging beaches to access. It is not wheelchair accessible and difficult for disabled visitors and small children..Be aware that this is a clothing optional beach (so there might be nudist zones). Dogs allowed all year round. The locals might not be that friendly. Due to it's hard access, Praia do Segundo Torrão is remote. The cell phone signal is weak there, so be prepared.
There are shops and shades.
Praia do Segundo Torrão offers a lot of space for sunbathing and family games.
June, July, August, September are the best months to visit Praia do Segundo Torrão and other beaches in Almada, because that's when the temperatures are warm and there's probably less crowd (not guaranteed).
