Armação dos Búzios, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Praia Olho de Boi, a real paradise of wild and unspoiled nature, is a small stretch of sand located in Armação dos Búzios. It's a clothing optional beach and when it's not crowded it is a pretty paradisical place. There's nothing like sunbathing and swimming au naturel. It has clear water. The water there is crystal clear. This beach is so pretty that you'll not want to leave! It's around 0.13km in length, which is super small. It is never crowded here. The views are amazing and the weather is warm all year round.
Praia Olho de Boi is one of the more challenging beaches to access. It is not wheelchair accessible and difficult for disabled visitors and small children. To get here is an adventure. You can go to this beach by walking or hiking - note that it's not that easy to get there. There are no lifeguards on duty at the beach, so keep that in mind, but if you’re looking for somewhere quiet to hang out, Praia Olho de Boi is a good place. Be aware that this is a clothing optional beach (so there might be nudist zones). Be careful with your belongings because it’s not a safe place.
January, February, June, July are the best months to visit Praia Olho de Boi and other beaches in Armação dos Búzios, because that's when the temperatures are warm and there's probably less crowd (not guaranteed).
