Praia Preta is a beautiful and small sandy beach in Angra dos Reis. This beach is so pretty that is totally worth it! It's around 0.11km in length, which is super small. It is never crowded here. The views are amazing and the weather is usually nice.
Praia Preta is one of the more challenging beaches to access. It is not wheelchair accessible and difficult for disabled visitors and small children. You can go to this beach by boat and walking or hiking - note that it's not that easy to get there. Be careful with your belongings because it’s not a safe place.
The beach is suitable for walking.
April, June, July, August are the best months to visit Praia Preta and other beaches in Angra dos Reis, because that's when the temperatures are warm and there's probably less crowd (not guaranteed).
