Praia Torrão do Lameiro is a safe and relaxing sandy beach in Ovar. It's a clothing optional beach. There's nothing like sunbathing and swimming au naturel. It's hard to find some shade at the beach. There are no amenities so bring what you need and please don't leave anything behind.
You can go to this beach by boat and walking or hiking. There are no lifeguards on duty at the beach, so keep that in mind, but if you’re looking for somewhere quiet to hang out, Praia Torrão do Lameiro is a good place. Be aware that this is a clothing optional beach (so there might be nudist zones). Dogs allowed all year round. There is parking space nearby. Praia Torrão do Lameiro is usually calm.
There are no outside shower, umbrella for rent, and chairs for rent.
The water here is suitable for surfing, swimming, diving, snorkeling, fishing, kitesurfing, windsurfing, kayaking, and standup paddleboarding. Walking, running, volleyball, beach tennis, doing yoga, watching the sunset, and stargazing can be enjoyed as well.
June, July, August, September are the best months to visit Praia Torrão do Lameiro and other beaches in Ovar, because that's when the temperatures are warm and there's probably less crowd (not guaranteed).
